BIS Houston partners with Ravenna Financial Aid, a third-party financial aid assessment service that evaluates each family's level of financial need. To apply for financial aid, families must complete the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) through the Ravenna Financial Aid portal and submit all required supporting documentation.
For the 2027-2028 school year, applications will open on February 1, 2027. Families should use School Partner Code 200293 when applying.
Financial Aid Review Process
Once a financial aid application is complete, it is reviewed by the BIS Houston Financial Aid Committee, which makes recommendations for awards. All recommendations are subject to additional approvals.
Please note:
- Incomplete applications cannot be reviewed.
- All financial aid information is kept strictly confidential.
- Financial aid awards provide partial tuition assistance only.
- Awards are granted for one school year at a time, and assistance is not guaranteed in future years.

Priority review is given to re-enrolling families who submit complete applications during February. Due to the volume of financial aid applications received each year, new family applications will be reviewed after the review of eligible re-enrolling families has been completed. To be considered for financial aid, new applicants must first complete the admissions process and be accepted to BIS Houston. Due to the volume of applications received, a student's financial aid application will not be reviewed until an offer of admission has been extended.

New Families
Students must be accepted to BIS Houston before their financial aid application can be reviewed. Families who receive a financial aid award will be notified and will be provided with a deadline to make their enrollment decision. Re-Enrolling Families
Financial aid awards will not be granted to families with outstanding balances on their account. Re-enrolling families who submit complete financial aid applications by the school's published deadlines receive priority review. Families who receive a financial aid award will receive a deadline for completing their re-enrollment contract. Steps for Families Applying for Financial Aid
- Submit your financial aid application through the Ravenna Financial Aid portal beginning February 1, 2027.
- Apply for TEFA funding through the Odyssey platform. TEFA application dates and deadlines will be announced by Odyssey.
- Share your TEFA approval or denial notification with BIS Houston.
During the financial aid review process, BIS Houston's Financial Aid Committee will consider TEFA funding decisions when determining financial aid awards.
