Champittet athletes shine at IMG Academy in Florida

In October, five Champittet student athletes joined our first school trip to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, USA. This exciting opportunity is part of our collaboration with IMG Academy, a world leader in sports education.

Elite training with international connections

For one week, our students participated in the Nord Anglia Challenge, an experience reserved for Nord Anglia Education students aged 13 and up.

At IMG Academy’s premier youth sports campus, our young athletes trained with expert coaches in a world-class sporting environment. Our participants developed confidence and leadership skills as they sharpened their technique in basketball, football, volleyball and other sports. They also formed new international friendships while training and competing with Nord Anglia Education peers from around the world.

Building leadership skills through sport

Through elite coaching and high-level competition, the Nord Anglia Challenge pushes students beyond their comfort zone, supporting both athletic development and personal growth. This experience enables participants to strengthen key skills such as leadership, motivation and resilience that are crucial for future academic and career success, as well as in sport.

As part of the Nord Anglia Education family, Champittet students can take part in IMG Academy Camps at preferential rates and join Nord Anglia Challenge weeks, which offer training across a range of sports. Like our longstanding collaborations with The Juilliard School, MIT and UNICEF, our partnership with IMG Academy brings new opportunities for students to learn beyond the classroom, pursue their passions and develop new skills. We are delighted to offer this enriching experience and help our students realise their potential, both on and off the field.
